About The Author

Hi, Reader,

Welcome to Happier Mindset!

My name is Nicole. I started this blog after working through many problems I was encountering on a daily basis. Problems that I felt were holding me (and likely others) back from a happy and successful life.

And I’m still working through the many issues that life presents us with. But I hope you will join me in exploring and trying to tackle these negative situations.

I want this to be a place where great ideas can be communicated and possibly discovered.

A little background about me

People and how they think are interesting to me. I like to be a problem-solver and forever-learner.

In college, I majored in Cognitive Science which is a blend of psychology, neuroscience and artificial intelligence. I planned to go to medical school and become a neurologist or psychiatrist.

After college, I worked as a Research Assistant and Lab Manager in various neuroscience and psychology research labs. I worked with many different types of people. It ranged from people who function normally in their everyday lives to people with various mental illnesses. All had different backgrounds and all had their struggles.

Through my classes, work experience, various reading, and philosophizing, I decided to write some informative short articles to help readers like you know you are not alone. I hope to give insight and advice on relatable life topics.

Thank you for your interest

I really appreciate you taking the time to check out my blog. As I mentioned before, I really do hope it helps you or someone out there.

I’m happy to hear from my readers so please feel free to reach out to me!

Live happier,

Nicole Andrews
